THE MISSION…

… is to be the Bridge in the Connecticut cannabis supply chain by providing quality Transportation services and Warehousing solutions to cannabis licensed businesses.

THE VISION…

… is to create a regional distribution network of cannabis products in Connecticut based on profitable and mutually beneficial working relationships between the company and our clients.

The origin of “The Bridge”

The name of our company is rooted in the legend of The Charter Oak, a white oak tree that became tradition in Connecticut, indicating the spiritual strength and love of freedom from our colonial forebears in their resistance to tyranny. The Connecticut Charter allowed the people to make certain decisions without input from the British Crown. In 1685 the Crown disapproved of the Royal Charter and demanded its return. Two years later, a meeting held at Hartford was supposed to determine its fate, but the document was hidden in the trunk of a large white oak tree where it was protected from the Crown. Despite Connecticut’s resistance, it became part of the Dominion of New England for the next two years. In 1689 the Connecticut Charter emerged from hiding and was used to govern Connecticut until 1818.

As we progress to a society where cannabis use is legalized, we want to be honor those before us who believed in self determination. By collaborating together and establishing win-win relationships, we will ensure the Connecticut cannabis industry always have a presence in the regional and national landscape.
